Terry Fox Run

The Postdoc community at Western supports the Terry Fox Run in support of Cancer Research. This year is no different and we are putting forward a team to take part and earn sponsorship. This year there will be no formal run but rather each runner/walker/cyclist etc. can choose their own course. So, if you want to lend your support join our team and/or sponsor us at www.terryfox.ca/PAW. Family, friends and colleagues are all welcome to join in too!

Virtual Workshop on Writing Communication

Join us for our upcoming virtual workshop, which will focus on "Communicating your research to a lay audience"!  The workshop will be presented by Douglas Keddy, who is an associate director of Research promotion at Western Research. The workshop will be 1h 30 min and will take place on Tuesday, 7th July at 2:30 pm via Zoom.

Western Research Virtual Conference is a series of seminars and workshops every Tuesday and Thursday at 2 pm. Sessions fall under one of the three themes:

  • Inclusive spaces and mental well-being
  • Partnerships and knowledge exchange

PAW Virtual Coffee

In the absence of all other social events we normally participate in, we're doing virtual coffee as a way to re-connect with people. Please join us on Wednesday, June 17th at 10:30 AM for a Zoom Coffee. This is a super informal event, so feel free to drop in late, or just stay for a bit. 

Summer Orientation for New Postroctoal Scholars (Virtual)

The summer orientation event is a change to learn about important resources available to Postdoctoral Scholars at Western. The orientation will begin with an opportunity for new Postdoctoral Scholars to introduce themselves and share their research, followed by presentations by many offices at Western.
